MINUTES: MOTION by Dale Terry to approve the minutes from 3/7 with correction to Drivers School. SECONDED by Tim Meddaugh. CARRIED.

TREASURER’S REPORT: Bob Burns presented updated treasurer’s report. MOTION by Terri Dobbs to approve treasurer’s report. SECONDED by Dale Terry. CARRIED.

ACTIVITIES REPORT: Rob was not present, but first Solo II is coming up April 21 at the Iroquois Foundry in Waverly New York.

OLD BUSINESS:

Comp Board: Supps for 2002 have been reviewed with on-line registration included. Post cards will be mailed to competitors and 500 hard copies of supps will be printed. Tim is in the process of putting together a promotional package together for the National race in order to qualify for promotional money available from NESCCA. If you have any thoughts on promo possibilities please contact Tim.

Vehicle rules: Tabled for more input later.

Sunshine committee: Tabled for more input later.

Planning and Feasibility committee will be meeting 4/13/02

NEW BUSINESS:

Proposal for new Solo II equipment: Did not have complete info tabled.

Ed Zebrowski recently made an appearance on WKPQ radio in Hornell. Everything went well and they would be willing to do more guest appearance with the region in the future.

Social gathering April 18 at Cornell University mechanical engineering department. Professor Albert George will talk about making a racecar from scratch.
