I didn't know about this until just this past weekend - but apparently the Star Specs were discontinued last fall and have been replaced by Dunlop (though Tire Rack shows some Star Specs in various sizes still in stock, limited quantities). The new one is the Direzza ZII (or Z2, apparently). I bought some ZIIs for the 911. They are sitting in the basement waiting for warmer weather. The tread pattern looks good, for what that's worth. ------------- Doug Binder '87 BMW 325is 87SM |

I saw them and they look REALLY nice, but if i can scratch together the coin ill just go with Falken 615k's. At somewhere around $20+ more per tire... That is more than i care to spend... -------------
